LOAD TABLE FOR WELDED STEEL GRATING (bearing bar spacing 1-3/16" or 30 mm) Type W-19
[table id=90 /]
Note: 1/4 " is considered the maximun deflection consistenet with pedestrian comfort, but can be exceeded for other loading conditions at the discretion of the engineer.[table id=92 /]
U:Uniform load (psf) C: Lineal concentrated load at mid-span perp to bearing bar axis (pfw) F: Deflection (in)
LOAD TABLE FOR WELDED STEEL GRATING (bearing bar spacing 1-1/2" or 38 mm) Type W-24
[table id=90 /]
Note: 1/4 " is considered the maximun deflection consistenet with pedestrian comfort, but can be exceeded for other loading conditions at the discretion of the engineer.[table id=58 /]
U:Uniform load (psf) C: Lineal concentrated load at mid-span perp to bearing bar axis (pfw) F: Deflection (in)
All Gratings are to be firmly anchored to their supports by postive means.
Saddle clips and fasteners are used for installations where grating is subject to removal (or welding should be avoided).
